My favourite shop now has a website! Creme de la Creme a la Edgar is a little shop we came across by chance on a visit to Copenhagen a few years ago. It is everything I LOVE in a shop - it sells the most beautiful children's items I've ever seen, all home-made and nostalgic, and it feels like you are stepping in to someone's home. Every time you go it is a different experience.

The decor inside the shop is incredible. There are lots of tiny little rooms over several floors in an old building, and everything has been hand-drawn or painted to create something like the inside of a children's storybook. Inside the windows are window seats made from vintage patchwork throws. In one room there is a basket of 1950s toys to play with, and a big squishy sofa where your children can sit and watch TV while you shop - which is especially good because the TV is an old black-and-white 1960s TV, that has been covered in vintage fabric!

The website sadly doesn't have online shopping yet, although it gives a tempting snapshot of this amazing shop - but to appreciate it you really need to go there!
