This is what I have created so far this weekend. 
Cupcakes - I have been experimenting with cupcakes for a little while now and I am finally getting close to creating what I think is a perfect recipe. 
Vintage tea towel peg bag - I've needed a new peg bag for a while, to replace my old one that has become faded from being left out on the line. I got the idea for this yesterday while browsing a 1970s craft book in the antique market just up from my house. It took about 30 seconds to make, which is the kind of project I like!
It's nice to be able to get creative after the week I've had - Monday's public holiday came straight after a teacher's strike the Friday before, on Tuesday my broadband went down for three days, on Thursday I got food poisoning in Melbourne, and all week the heat has been too stifling to go out of the house. Plus my office is being renovated and everything is covered in dust. Yuck!
The best creation this week, though, is this picture my son made for me. It shows the two of us together, lots of love hearts and a banner reading 'Mum is Osem' (well, he is only six, and 'awesome' is a pretty big word...)!
