Growing our own!

This week we've had a bit of sunshine and a lot of rain, which is perfect for our blooming veggie garden! We have eaten the first of our 'crops' - lettuce and strawberries, and how good they taste fresh from the ground! We are looking forward to courgettes, carrots, tomatoes, eggplant, spring onions, bok choy and lots of herbs over the summer. Rain permitting...

What a great vege patch. I'm sure you'll enjoy your produce very much - it always tastes so good straight from the backyard.

You must be so proud! It looks wonderful, I trooped the whole family out to look at my Asparagus the other day. It is a wonderful feeling to eat such nourishingly fresh leaves. Wonderful.
