Italian Food Packaging

Once a month we go to Gervasi's in Coburg to stock up on Italian groceries and cheeses. The aisles are tiny, and full of scary Italian nonnas, but it's worth it for the range of goods and just to take in the beaut packaging. I love the intense colours, the images of farms and wheat and sunshine and the tasty words: buona cocina, famigliere, delizie, squisito, it is all so enticing...

Would you believe I was going to post about the exact same topic this week but I guess you beat me to the post (pun intended) :)

I did a double take when I read that you shop at Gervasi's in Coburg. When my Princess was a baby we stayed in Coburg for 3 months, I used to walk her in her pram to Gervasi's to shop. You are right, it was always full of scary Italian Nonna's who would tut tut if a piece of bare skin peaked out from the pram!!! Love Gervasi's and yes the packaging is fabulous! Rachaelxo p.s actually we have Gervasi's Parmesean cheese at the moment, my BFF's hubby brought it back and they shared!!!
