Two more nights away from home, avoiding the strong winds and associated fire risk. This means we have been living out of a suitcase for 15 days now, which might be ok if you're on holiday but we're not. Trade show, bush fires, home, fire threat, home, windy weather, home... well, I can't say we haven't been having fun, it's been nice for the kids to have some extra time off school, and I have done lots of hanging out with them, shopping and catching up with friends. And I have even been able to keep a bit on top of work thanks to my iPhone and laptop. But we have all had enough. Enough. We want to go home and get back to normal. As does everyone in our little corner of the world. Please everyone wish us some rain and calm weather, we need it badly!!

Hoping it all settles really soon for all who live in the south east of our country. Here I am in the middle - all that water to the north and the horror of bushfires to the south.
Hopefully the rain will spread over the rest of the country and bring relief to us all.

I'm sending thoughts of showers and quenching rain your way. Be safe. We're all thinking of you.
