Pretty things

After a stroll around the Sunday market with my eldest, and a lovely brunch, my Mother's Day treat was some time to browse in the Mill Markets at Daylesford. I found a pretty 1950s comforter, some framed flower prints and a nice piece of pink brocade fabric. Sweet! This afternoon we are going to bake some cakes from my new recipe book. Hope you are having a lovely day too...

Those flower prints are so lovely! I search and search but never seem to find any good prints. I think I need to make a trip to country Victoria. I am sure that is where all the good stuff ends up.

Sounds like you had a lovely Mother's Day. The framed print is very cute. I'll have to make a trip to the Mill Markets soon to find some treasures of my own :)
