Full of the Joys of Spring

I'm feeling all springy today. The sun is finally shining over Daylesford. Daffodils are growing...

The first blossoms are starting to appear on the trees...

And we are making good progress with the shop. Steph has been busy painting everything white before we starting adding lots of colour.

We found this roll of vintage wallpaper and thought it would be a cute way of blocking out the windows until the shop is ready to open.

I should have some news on our opening date soon - we're super-excited!

I'm loving Spring - the lovely weather today, the blossoms, the bulbs, my birthday, all so fresh and exhilarating (?exilarating ?exilirating - maybe I should stick to words I know how to spell!)

Love the colours of the wallpaper. Exciting news about the shop. It's turning cold here and the Autumn colours are appearing so it's nice to see your sunny post on a grey day.

Hi Allison (Liz H ?..you lucky girl you...revel in it!!)
How lovely to see spring blossoms on a blog..ooh that's my favourite time of year. Best of luck with the shop, love the shelves, I'd like a whole bank of those across the wall of my dining room to fill with Paumes books and pretty stuff! x

Spring is a lovely time of year. All the promise of new beginnings. Daylesford seems to be in the media all the time lately. Everybody famous and their aunt seems to live there! Thank you for your lovely comment on my Blog about my grandfather. xx

Oh wowee, exciting indeed!
I was down Daylesford way just last week, picked up a neat old dragster bike for a song and had scones at the old convent, loved it!
Good luck with the shop, i'll be sure to stop by.
