Love the vintage Eastern European styling at this café.

Very jealous of all the cute little places around near you, we have nothing like that where I am. Everything is so "vanilla"!!!

Hi Allison
We are in Melbourne again next week to visit my brother again and he lives in Yarraville!!!
We are also visiting my cousin in Bendigo and have decided we MUST visit Daylesford on the way back as your blog makes it look so cute!
Any must sees in the way of oppies/rerto shops/cafes?

Luckily for me Hausfrau is one of my local cafes and it never disappoints!
I agree that if you are ever in Yarraville make sure you check it out

Yarraville has the best village shopping all started when Marita opened her gift shop many years ago.
Hausfrau is the best, such a clever concept and builds on the ethnic traditions of the migrants in that used to live there. I bought my first house in Yarraville 27 years ago, I loved it then and l love to visit now.
