Speaking Out

Did you read the interview with Jane Martin in yesterday's Age? She is a mum and policy adviser who, after taking on the smoking lobby, is now speaking out against junk food advertising to children. Fantastic! It's amazing really, that we need a woman like Ms Martin to convince our decision makers to change our advertising junk food policies, you'd think one look at our obesity and diabetes rates would do it.
