Dreaming of Lebanon

All week we've been dreamily looking at this beautiful book. Talking excitedly about our 'maybe plan' to go to Beirut next year and travel through the Middle East. I so want to go.

I love this book, I bought it for my husband a couple years ago. The Middle East is a great place to go. We have been to Egypt, Morocco and Dubai. It was AMAZING!! You definately try go if you can :-)

The book looks lovely. I'm hoping for my own Oriental adventure next year...Turkey. We'll see...

this is my husbands favourite cook book. We went to Momo's years ago and then bought the book. Try the lamb, but do it on the BBQ - very nice and the Bedouin soup although it looks disgusting is delicious. Malouf also did an episode on Food Safari a few years back which was quite good - yum!

You've re-inspired me, as have all of these posts. We have friends living in Egypt and Dubai and I am feeling very determined to undertake an add-on expedition when we take our UK trip, hopefully next year....might just order this book from the library for more encouragement.

:) I love it when people are interested in the middle east! I think those countries have facinating cultures, traditions and languages. About a year ago I started learning Farsi and I hope one day Afghanistan is less riddled with war and curruption so I can go and visit. One day!
