Vintage sheets...

and blankets and quilts, blowing in the wind. Is there anything nicer? I found dozens of photos of thrifted sheets on my washing line when I was going through my photos recently. They somehow make me feel very happy!

Lovely pics - I really like the retro red and blue sheet, and who could resist the last one for a trip down memory lane!

Gorgeous post, Allison. It would make a lovely book. There is a blogger whose name eludes me who has lovely, dreamy prints of vintage washing on lines.
I love the stripey. xx

Gosh that last one brings back memories and I have a pillow case to match that beautiful stripey one somewhere.

I love the last one too: I remember the fabric from my childhood and I was so excited when I found a quilt cover in it: its now my favourite quilt cover, and its my background on my phone screen too!
