It's Sunday, it's almost the end of the school holidays, all avenues of entertainment have been exhausted. Time to pull out some of the old Fisher Price Little People toys. Hours of fun carefully setting the scene and making up stories. I have yet to find a new toy (not involving a screen or slime) that can engage kids as much as these do.
(Sophie, if you're reading this, I'm looking forward to our playdate!)

just lovely
I agree - did you know they did a rerun of them recently? In the US only I think.
I have fond, fond memories of sitting in the dentist's waiting room playing with the garage. I didn't have fond memories of going into the dentist's chair however.
There are so many fun Little People toys. Love the alphabet mat with the animals

Hi - if you take a peak at my blogheader, you'll see I'm a fan of the little people ;)
I used to spend hours with my school house and my sisters family house, school bus and aeroplane, making up stories.

Tried & tested, my mum kept our 1970's Fisher Price, it's classic & while my guys got the 2000 versions, still brilliant use of their imaginations, only plastic they have (that & Little Tikes). Love Posie
Little People...what fond memories. It is wonderful to learn that the creative stimulation that these toys bring is still burning bright today!
I love the new front page.
What an amazing collection of retro little people! I love those old school toys!
My husband had the plane and the bus - still in use at the grandparents'. Too gorgeous... Your little people are very lucky to have such a decent collection!
