Women doing it all!

I've met a heap of gorgeous new people lately, and I've been especially inspired by several women I've met who are running their own successful businesses (you know who you are!). It's been really refreshing to talk to real people who understand why I can't commit to weekly coffee/stitch n' bitch mornings even though I'm sure it's nice, who struggle with the same issues like work/life balance, finding good employees, and cash flow, yet who are so passionate about what they do that they don't complain about working hard for 50+ hours a week while still finding time for a family! And who are often also involved in their community in an active way, organising events and raising funds. Yay for girls running their own businesses and still having a great family and community life!! It is possible. I love you! xx

Photo is of Miss Ingrid, a lady of leisure, who always reminds me when I need to slow down!

Miss Ingrid is beautiful. I miss having a cat (My Wolfie boy passed away). I love my dog but I'm a cat girl a heart. It's always so lovely to meet people on the same wave length. A x

For me is all new (gearing up to have e-store soon). Sometime I think our circle of friends change especially when you are having family. I somehow felt that my friends have already abandoned me just when they knew am pregnant. IMO, pg woman still need a balance life between family, community and biz too hey! :D That's why I have the goal to make more friends who share the same passionate like I do. :)

Btw, I like how the way you say it..Lady of leisure who always reminds you when you need to slow down! :)

I would be a fabulous employee for you.....if I didn't live in Western Australia.
I would turn up an hour early & linger after close just to be around all the beautiful things. Ha.
Hearing ya loud & clear.

Absolutely, i'm the same, limit my movies with the girls to one per term, i don't join any craft groups & make a morning tea catch up part of my trip home. We're all busy but don't have to miss out completely. Possibly why i don't bother with FaceBook - i'd rather see people & i make the school gate my catch up fun break for the afternoon. Generally find other mummies in business the easiest to talk to as we all know we have things to do, but enjoy the break. Well said Allison, love Posie
