This Sunday 21 November marks the fourth birthday of my blog! My, what a busy four years it has been. In November 2006 I was newly arrived in Daylesford, my kids were in kinder and creche, I didn't know many people in Australia, I was running a tiny craft business making badges and knitted stuff. My house was still a half-renovated ex-share house with dodgy floorboards and no door handles, I was still totally the right side of 40, I was on the verge of making a whole huge new group of friends (though I didn't know it), and I weighed 12 kilos more than I do today. John Howard was still the prime minister and the iPhone had not even been invented. So hurrah for all that good stuff that has happened since then, even turning 40 which wasn't so bad in the end.To share my celebration of four lovely blog years I am doing a special reader giveaway this week. The prize is a Lark tote bag stuffed with lots of new and pre-loved things - some Daisy Lane things, Christmas stuff, stationery, knitted things, wrapping paper, pretty bits and pieces, vintage fabric, badges, cupcakey-things, treats from Daylesford, haberdashery bits and bobs - basically lots of my favourite things that I have bored you with over the years!

Congratulations! What a fantastic four! Four years ago I only had two kids, didn't have a daughter, had never travelled overseas as an adult, had never run anywhere let alone 10kms and had never used a sewing machine. Change is good. Here's to the next four years of changes.
