Easter Monday

We had a glorious afternoon yesterday in Daylesford. The sun was shining and we had received a phone call just the night before from some dear friends from our old Cambridge days who live near Melbourne but who we haven't caught up with in nearly four years. We met up at the lake and strolled around, catching up on kids and jobs and stuff. When the sun went down we drove over to Clydesdale where they are renting the most adorable old farmhouse for a few days. I had to take some photos - it was a beautiful old stone building, with chickens and horses, and just the right amount of crumbliness. The kids played board games (stored in the old kookaburra!) in front of the wood fire while we ate tacos and drank wine in the farmhouse kitchen. Bliss! I could seriously live in this place, it's just my cup of tea. I did steal a few ideas for The Lark House, I must admit!

Yes! So gorgeous. It looks like it could be in England or France somewhere. Not often we see houses like this in Australia. Thanks for sharing, Allison. x
